The Rake is a Mediterranean Tapas restaurant that is located in Rochdale. The building was first opened in the 16th century and has been known as “The Rake” for over 400 years.
Over the last few years hosts Mark and Dawn Wickham have built a reputation for fine food and wine. They were initially based at Littleborough Coach House and expanded to the Rake in Spring 2007, and they have recently renovated the room accommodation to the quality of a boutique hotel.
The menu uses locally sourced ingredients where possible, and includes fresh sardines, chorizo with almonds and honey and lamb chop with rosemary.
