Middleton Arena is a multi purpose venue offering aquatics, fitness classes, racquet sports and a multi purpose sports hall.

Fitness fanatics will be in their element at Heywood Sports Village which has a huge range of facilities, including two new swimming pools, a four court sports hall, a 100 station fitness suite with steam cabins, and outdoor grass pitches.

Situated right next to Rochdale town centre, Central Leisure Centre is unique in the region, not just because of its three swimming pools, but also because of its traditional Health Suite with Turkish and Russian Baths, a steam room, hot rooms and a relaxation lounge. Visitors who want to work up a sweat can sample the Fitness Studio, while tentative types can try second gym which is designed for people who are new to exercise.

At the Kingsway Park Sports Centre you can turn your hand to badminton, cricket, netball and much more. Or head down to the Athletic Arena, with its full range of track and field facilities with floodlighting, to have a go at discus, shot putt and water jump among others.
